Sentelligence, Inc. Expands “Strategic Business Relationship Agreement” with Saturn Electronics and Engineering to Develop and Manufacture a Sensor to Detect Urea (Saturn)

Indianapolis, Indiana…Sentelligence, Inc. announces a new Agreement between Sentelligence and Saturn Electronics and Engineering of Auburn Hills, Michigan. The Agreement provides for a strategic and funding relationship in which Saturn will provide engineering and manufacturing support on development of a Urea Sensor. The agreement will increase Saturn’s equity position in Sentelligence.

According to Bill Linden, Sentelligence President and Chief Operation Officer, “SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) is an established technology with the potential to meet anticipated global emissions requirements. On-board, real time monitoring of urea based additives using our optical sensor technology is intended to protect the integrity and effectiveness of the SCR Systems in use. Linden states, “Sentelligence and Saturn will develop a urea sensor based upon Sentelligences’ current patent pending intelligent platform technology. It offers the ability to distinguish a variety of common additive fluid contaminants. As such, the sensor provides the necessary condition monitoring along with the potential for extended life when used in a harsh chemical environment.”

Larry Tomczak, Saturn’s Chief Technology Officer, states that “Sentelligence brings an opportunity for Saturn to develop and manufacture new technology that will continue to strengthen Saturn’s presence in commercial and industrial markets worldwide.” Tomczak further stated “This new Agreement will provide both companies with an opportunity to development a urea sensor that will meet the rigorous demands of global SCR systems support – cost effectively.”
